A Unique Passion. A Trusted Partnership. Engineered Solutions.

For more than six decades, Sypris Solutions has helped the world's most demanding customers build, defend, and move what matters, through precision engineering, certified manufacturing, and partnerships that last.

Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Sypris is a diversified provider of technology‑based outsourced services and specialty products. Through three operating businesses, we serve the aerospace and defense electronics, oil and gas, and commercial vehicle markets, typically under multi‑year, sole‑source contracts with major corporations and government agencies.

Approximately 600 employees across the United States and Mexico design, machine, forge, assemble, and test the components our customers depend on. From hardened satellite power supplies and battlefield electronics to high‑pressure pipeline closures and forged drivetrain components, the work we do is mission‑critical, and so is the way we deliver it: with the engineering rigor, quality systems, and on‑time discipline expected of a long‑term partner.

That commitment is what links our three businesses, and what unites our team. Whether you're sourcing a single specialty component or a multi‑year build‑to‑print program, our goal is the same: to make your success the most predictable thing on the schedule.

Aerospace and Defense

For decades, Sypris Electronics has been a "Trusted Source" for custom electronic design and manufacturing services supporting the U.S. defense and aerospace community. We engineer satellite power supplies, box-builds for land-based systems, and mission-critical electronic assemblies built to perform in some of the most demanding environments on Earth, and beyond it.

Customers including Analog Devices, Collins Aerospace, Harris, Lockheed Martin, L3, Northrop Grumman, and SubCom rely on Sypris for hardware that supports flagship programs such as the Joint Strike Fighter, the GOES-R satellite series, the Hellfire missile, the SEWIP electronic warfare suite, and the Viper multi-band infrared missile defense laser.

Industrial Solutions

Through our Tube Turns brand, Sypris is a leading supplier of specialty closures and engineered piping components for the construction and maintenance of strategic oil, gas, and petrochemical infrastructure worldwide. We pair nearly a century of forging and pressure-component expertise with modern engineering, manufacturing, and quality systems to deliver equipment that's trusted in the field for decades.

Our highly-engineered products are at work in some of the world's most demanding projects, including the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve, the Keiyo Gas Pipeline and Kawasaki Power Plant in Japan, the Tengiz Oil Field in Kazakhstan, the Rabigh Desalination Plant in Saudi Arabia, the FPG Glycerin Refinery in Malaysia, and the Ca Mau Gas Pipeline in Vietnam, among many others.

Vehicle Components

Sypris is one of North America's leading suppliers of forged and machined drivetrain components for the commercial vehicle market. We've invested heavily in process technology, automation, and quality systems to deliver the flexibility, responsiveness, and reliability our customers depend on, at the on-time delivery and quality levels expected of a world-class supplier.

Our components are produced to the exacting specifications of OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers including Daimler, Dana, Meritor, Sisamex, Tremec, and Volvo, and they end up in the powertrains of Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Volvo trucks, as well as specialty vehicles built by BRP‑Rotax, Chevrolet, and Jeep.
